Lobster Loft and Dorado Digs are one-bedroom units for two, each with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. Catfish Cove and Oyster Oasis have two bedrooms and sleep four, and Oyster Oasis adds two en-suite bathrooms and a private sea-view balcony with a braai.

Every unit has a kitchen or kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and stove, its own braai, and a balcony or courtyard. Dorado Digs has an open-plan lounge with an indoor braai, but its bedroom is up a steep staircase, so it does not suit elderly guests. Shared facilities include a swimming pool, free Wi-Fi and secure parking, and pets are allowed by arrangement. Hole in the Wall is 10 km away and the Mapuzi River mouth 3.5 km. To get here, turn off the N2 near Mthatha onto the R411, a tarred road of about 80 km, and plan to arrive before dark because of stray animals and unmarked speed bumps.
