About the Property
Chobe River Lodge stands on the banks of the Chobe River in Kasane, in northern Botswana. It has 12 rooms: six Luxury Riverview Suites, a two-level Family Room with Riverview and five Courtyard Suites. Each has an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. The lodge runs its own game drives and river cruises, using its own boats.
The gardens slope down to the riverfront, and a rim-flow pool looks out over the water. Meals are fresh and home-cooked, served indoors, outdoors or on the river. There is also a bar, a boma for evening gatherings and a spa offering massages and beauty treatments. The Chobe National Park entrance is 7 km away, and guests can reach the reserve by vehicle or by boat.
Victoria Falls is about 1.5 hours away, and the lodge can arrange day trips there. It also promotes luxury mobile safaris to Chobe, Savuti, Linyanti, Khwai, Moremi and the Nxai pans. Airport transfers from Kasane are included for scheduled flights arriving between 12:00 and 14:00. Other transfers cost extra. Children under 4 are not accepted, and the minimum stay is 2 nights.
