About the Property
Crocodile Bridge Safari Lodge sits on the banks of the Crocodile River, just 200 metres from the Crocodile Bridge entrance gate to Kruger National Park — close enough that game viewing starts before you've even entered the park. The lodge's four tent and suite types (Safari Tent, Safari Tent with Deck, Large Safari Tent with Deck, and Riverfront Suite with Patio) all come with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms, and several open onto private decks overlooking the river.
Breakfast and dinner are included and served fireside, with traditional South African dishes cooked over open coals, in a potjie, or oven-baked. There's no bar or TV on site — guests bring their own drinks — and the lodge keeps things quiet by design, with no speakers or loud noise permitted and an adults-and-older-children-only policy (14+).
Beyond the lodge's own open-vehicle safaris and bush walks, Komatipoort is a short drive away for tiger-fishing on the Komati River and a round at the 9-hole Kambaku Golf Course.
