Ella’s Self-catering Unit

Ella's Self-catering Unit is a single one-bedroom unit in Steiltes, Mbombela, hosted by Elmarie and rated 4.8 out of 5 on LekkeSlaap from 77 reviews. Guests score it 4.9 for cleanliness, service and safety, and 4.8 for value for money. It sleeps four, with a king bed in the bedroom and a double sleeper couch, and one bathroom with a shower and toilet. That makes it a practical fit for a couple or a small family staying in Nelspruit.

The kitchen has a fridge, a microwave, tea and coffee facilities, crockery and cutlery, and there is a braai for cooking outdoors. The unit has air conditioning, DStv and free Wi-Fi, with backup for load-shedding and free secure parking. A laundromat is close by, and children of all ages are welcome.

Guests on LekkeSlaap mention the hosts as well as the unit. One guest wrote (in Afrikaans) that it was a "Very nice stay! Friendly and lovely people." Another summed it up simply: "Perfect. It was wonderful, everything was perfect!" A third guest, also writing in Afrikaans, described a "Quiet place to stay and neat." If you want a self-contained base with a kitchen, a braai and a host guests rate highly for service, rather than a hotel, this is that kind of stay.
