About the Property
Island Cottage is a self-catering guest house on Shark Island (Erf 810), which a causeway joins to the mainland. Three self-contained units, Seagull, Penguin and Flamingo, each have an en-suite bathroom, satellite TV, tea and coffee, and a private patio or balcony.
Seagull and Penguin each have a double bed plus a convertible sofa and a full kitchenette. Flamingo has a double bed and a breakfast corner with minimal cooking facilities. There is also a shared braai area, free secure parking and a laundry service. The Cottage Spa Retreat offers beauty treatments, facials and massage.
The island setting is the main draw. Lüderitz town centre, its restaurants and its attractions are a short walk across the causeway, and the town is the base for visiting Kolmanskop.
