About the Property
Mantenga Lodge sits in the Ezulwini Valley, known as the "Valley of Heaven", at the foot of the Sheba's Breasts mountains. It overlooks Execution Rock and lies beside Mantenga Nature Reserve. The lodge is described as family run. It has 38 en-suite rooms in five types, all with air conditioning, DSTV and free Wi-Fi.
Room names follow a theme: King Solomon's, Sheba's and Rider Haggard's. Rock View rooms have a balcony. Rider Haggard's rooms are smaller, with a patio, and are near the pool. Sheba's Family Rooms sleep two adults and two children. The restaurant seats 70, indoors or on a terrace overlooking the valley. Its menu blends Swazi ingredients with European dishes, and breakfast is included for guests.
Much of what you might want to do is close by. The Swazi Cultural Village is a 15-minute walk away, with daily shows at 11:15 and 15:15. Mantenga Craft Centre and Swazi Trails Adventures are both 200 m from the lodge. Lobamba, with the National Museum and Parliament, is about a 5-minute drive. The lodge also offers a guided Walk & Learn Tour from its door, and the proceeds go to the community.

Manzini: Take the MR3 and the Ezulwini turnoff, pass the houses of Parliament, go straight over a traffic circle, turn right at the next traffic circle, and after the bridge turn left and then right onto Mantenga Drive.
