MGM Wilderness, also known as Mynhardt Guest Manor, is a contemporary guest house set directly on Wilderness beach, between George and Knysna on the Garden Route. Its seven en-suite rooms are split across four room types, six of them with sea views and one looking out to the Wilderness hills; every room has a king-size bed and a rain shower.
The property centres on its beach position: a private boardwalk of about 60 steps leads straight down to the sand, and two sea-facing splash pools, a rooftop sundeck and a sea-facing dining room all look out over the water.
