Ngwenya Lodge

Ngwenya Lodge sits on the farm Whisky along Tenbosch Road outside Komatipoort, with two kilometres of frontage onto the Crocodile River and Crocodile Bridge Gate into Kruger National Park about 9 km away. The resort is graded four stars in the self-catering shared vacation category by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and holds RCI Gold Crown status.

Accommodation is in self-catering chalets and units with fresh linen supplied; guests cook for themselves or eat at Le Fera Restaurant on site. Six swimming pools, a bar with river-view sundowners, an 18-hole mini-golf course, tennis courts and walking trails are spread across the grounds, alongside a spa and a small shop for basic supplies.

Because the property backs directly onto the Crocodile River, game viewing - including the Big Five - is possible from the lodge itself as well as on drives into the park, and birdwatching along the river is a regular guest activity.
