A guest lodge in Roma, the university and mission town 34km southeast of Maseru.
About the Property
Roma Trading Post Lodge is a guest house in Roma, a Roman Catholic mission town founded in 1862 that grew into Lesotho's main seat of higher education as home to the National University of Lesotho. Roma sits in a broad, fertile valley ringed by sandstone cliffs, about 34km southeast of Maseru at roughly 1,610m elevation.
Beyond the university, Roma is known for dinosaur footprints found in the surrounding area and for St Joseph's Hospital, which has served the district since 1937. The lodge makes a quieter base than central Maseru for visitors heading further into Maseru District toward Thaba Bosiu, Morija or Semonkong.
Specific room types, rates and on-site amenities were not published on a website we could access for this lodge; contact the lodge directly on the number below to check current availability and rates.
