Savute Safari Lodge, Savuti, Chobe National Park

Savute Safari Lodge sits on the Savute (Savuti) Channel in the western Savuti sector of Chobe National Park, Botswana. Desert & Delta Safaris rebuilt the lodge after about 25 years. It is a fly-in stay for wildlife around Savuti Marsh and the channel, and return airstrip transfers are included in the rate.

The lodge has 11 thatch-and-timber chalets and one family room with two double bedrooms, for a maximum of 24 guests. Each chalet has a private deck overlooking the waterhole. Guests can use the swimming pool, bar, curio shop, campfire area and a shaded viewing deck over the channel. Meals are served indoors or alfresco, overlooking the channel.

Morning and afternoon game drives run in open 4x4 vehicles around Savuti Marsh and the channel. The lodge also arranges visits to the San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills. Birdwatchers can look for some of the 450+ species recorded here. The rate covers accommodation, all meals, local beverages, scheduled activities, laundry, park fees and taxes.
