About the Property
Tom's Guest House is run by David and Ilka, a couple who moved from Hamburg, Germany to Cape Town in August 2023 to run their own guesthouse, bringing hospitality and tourism experience from Europe with them. The seven-bedroom property sits in Oranjezicht, just beneath Table Mountain and a short stroll from the city centre.
Rooms come as doubles or triples, each with air-conditioning and heating, an electronic safe, a tea and coffee station and a hairdryer, and every rate includes a full breakfast served in the dining room or poolside on the patio. The hosts also arrange day tours, car hire, restaurant and theatre bookings, helicopter tours and airport transfers for guests planning their time in the city.
